Creating a buzz for your box is one of the most important ingredients to your success. Coaching and managing the day to day business of a Crossfit gym means that time is at a premium. Dont let marketing efforts get left in the dust. Follow these tips to efficiently use social media to your Crossfit gyms advantage.   What should you post? Offer content that is engaging to your current and potential members. Here are some basic ideas with practical examples:
  • Content that sparks emotion: (Gym member stories, Before/Afters)
  • Content with images: (Content with an image has a significantly higher rate of engagement!)
  • Content with Lists: (3 Ways to Get the Most Out of Your WOD)
  • How-to Content: (Breaking Down the Deadlift)
  • Newsworthy Content: (Who to Watch for at Next Years Games)
When should you post? Most importantly, do it consistently. Plan and schedule your content in advance and aim for two to five posts weekly. Statistically, you are most likely to see engagement on Facebook on Thursdays and Fridays 1-4pm, on Twitter Monday through Thursday 1-3pm, and Instagram on off-work hours. But again, dont get too hung up on exact posting times. Just do it!   Interacting with and staying in front of your audience through social media channels will encourage them to engage and share. And that is how social currency is minted. Utilize digital platforms that will allow you to create the buzz that will make your gym continue to grow and be successful!
