Eating fat free isnt good for you. Ironically its the reverse; eating fat is good for you and not eating it is not-so-good. So if you think eating fat will make you fat, its time to re-vamp your weight loss strategy. Because choosing the right kind of fats will actually help you drop pounds and inches. But stop. Dont head to the drive thru just yet. Its the good fats you want. And those dont reside at the nearest fast food joint. The Cliff Notes explanation is that certain hormones released from your fat cells enhance your metabolism and increase the rate in which fats are broken down. Translation: healthy fats can curb your appetite. The cool part is that good-for-you-fats can be found in a ton of accessible sources. These are just a few favorites to get you started. And in case you were curious, theyre all paleo approved. (Those cavemen really knew their stuff.) Avocado Avocados are packed with protein and fiber. Plus they go with almost everything. Add some to your protein shake to make it extra creamy, garnish a chicken breast or burger with it, or even use it like you would butter on a slice of ezekiel toast. Almond Butter Almonds contain compounds that limit the amount of fat absorbed by the body, and can help kick late-night candy cravings to the curb.
