Paleo Asian Cabbage Salad

  This healthy salad is packed with flavor. It's also easy on the eyes, thanks to a mix of colors and textures. You can easily eat this salad as a side dish or even an appetizer. The salad is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, while the sesame oil adds plenty of antioxidants along with a unique flavor.   Ingredients 1 small cabbage (red, green, or a mix of both), approximately 6 cups, thinly sliced/shredded 1 small bell pepper, chopped 1 medium carrot, julienned or shredded 3 medium green onions, thinly sliced 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped 1/4 cup coconut aminos 3 tbsp. sesame oil 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 3 tbsp. almond butter 1 medium garlic clove, minced 1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger 1/4 tsp. sea salt   Preparation Toss together cabbage, bell pepper, carrots, green onions, and cilantro in large bowl. Whisk together remaining ingredients in a smaller bowl to create the dressing. Drizzle dressing over salad, tossing to coat. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds or slivered almonds on top to garnish if desired. Serve with grilled shrimp or a seared ahi tuna steak for a complete meal.
